My husband and I first met Lori when
she arrived to help a couple pick
out their puppy at the breeders.
Lori also had her pup in the car
with her and we got to see first
hand, how obedient and calm her pup
was, and also to see how Lori
interacted with her. We were very
impressed. We took our 5 month old
pup "Max" to her, where he spent 6
days with her and her family. Max
not only received the socialization that we knew
he needed, but came out a very well
behaved, calmer, obedient pup. Lori
worked with us to help us feel
comfortable continuing Max's
training. We will definitely be
looking forward to working with Lori
again, to further Max's training, as
well as the training of our future
pup. |

As we walked by
the bulletin board at Pet Supply
"Plus" in Upper Arlington, we could
not pass up a business card with the
name "Buckeye" K9 and a picture of
an adorable German Shepherd!! Lori
has done a remarkable job turning
our timid, insecure, Shepherd into a
confidant
and well-behaved loyal family
member. She worked wonders in such
little time and we can now enjoy our
nightly walks in our neighborhood
without the worry of another dog
crossing our path! Thanks Lori!!

Shima is out 3rd Akita so we
understand the importance of
socialization and early training in
the breed. We have taken both the
1st and 2nd level obedience classes
with Buckeye K9 (i.e. Lori) and even
had Shima stay with Lori for a few
days of one-on-one training. Lori is
great with our dog and with all the
dogs we've seen her handle. She is
calm, consistent and firm and as a
result the dogs respond well. I know
we will be in contact for some
additional training with Shima and
for any future pups we get. I would
highly recommend Lori and Buckeye K9
to anyone with a new puppy or with
an older dog in need of some
direction. |

This class has been a great learning
experience for me and my dog. Thanks
to Laurie's training and teaching,
Ranger and I were able to master
several skills and commands. Laurie
uses gentle, yet firm technique,
with positive affirmation. I looked
forward to that weekly hour set
aside to focus on training, while
Ranger seemed to look forward to
seeing all his new friends!
I would definitely recommend
Laurie's class to other dog owners.
It was the perfect opportunity to
nurture that very special bond I
have with my four-legged "best
friend." Thanks for making it such a

We took our 4 yr. old lab mix to
Lori's group class and were very
pleased with the results. The
group class is an exceptional value
and Lori is very patient yet firm
instructor. She provides
several demonstrations of the
commands so you as well as your dog
can grasp the concept. Our dog
also needed some socialization and
this class provided that as well as
learning the commands while being
distracted.

Training my new dog with Lori has
been a very positive experience.
Her gentle way of handling both the
pets and the owners is very much
appreciated. She has complete
understanding of the "dog's point of
view" and the way we should approach
working with the pet. She
teaches a broad array of approaches
and commands but focuses on what
will work for the owner and their
chosen life style with the pet.
I recommend her to anyone interested
in ensuring they and their pet have
